Where Heartworms Live

Think your area is safe? Think again.

According to the American Heartworm Society™, cases of heartworms (Dirofilaria immitis) have been reported in all 50 states. It’s a worldwide problem that can occur anywhere you find mosquitoes. Dogs in the South are at especially high risk because mosquitoes thrive in warm, humid climates.

Year-round protection for all.

Skipping doses is not healthy for your dog, no matter where you live or what season it is. While heartworms are more common in warm months, they can infect dogs year-round, even during the winter in the coldest climates.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Dogs should be tested for heartworms prior to use. In a small percentage of treated dogs, digestive and neurological side effects may occur. Please see full product insert for more information.
